What to expect from this book?

Think of it as trying to lift a heavy weight with your bare hands and with a pulley. One is easier than the other. But no matter what tools you have, you have to attempt to lift the heavyweight. It won’t move by itself, no matter how good the pulley system is. 

This book will give you some insights to help you with your job search, make the decision and make the move to Europe. But you have to put in a lot of effort to make this happen. This book is merely a toolkit, you have to put it to good use.

This book doesn’t go deep into the skills you have to build to find a job. While it discusses soft skills, no technical skills have been covered. There are already plenty of resources for that. 

Instead, this book intends to help you to make the decision around which city to move to, plan for the move, how to tactically approach the job search, living cost details, what should you expect by moving to Europe, how to settle etc.

Note: This book is based on my experience living in Germany for four years, in the Netherlands for more than a year and travelling to other countries as a digital nomad. Someone else’s experience might differ from mine.
